Valentine Farm Truck Cookie Cutter Set
Just added to the shop for this Valentine season is this Valentine Farm Truck Cookie Cutter Set.
It's available in regular, small, and mini sizes. For this tutorial, I'm decorating the REGULAR size cookies.
This truck set is designed to be in two separate cookie parts so you can change out the back of the truck with different holidays. (See this Christmas farm truck cookie cutter as an example.)
Cookie Templates for Valentine Farm Truck Set
To help with the decorating process, I made a PDF template available for this new Valentine farm truck cookie set.
You can download these cookie templates HERE.
If you have a Kopykake or Pico projector, just print it out (or pull it up on your mobile device) and you are good to go. For those without a projector, follow the suggested steps below by tracing the design onto the cookie with an edible food marker.
The Cookie Decorating Process
For the colors used for these Valentine farm truck cookies, you will need the following suggested colors:
- Red royal icing (I used Americolor Tulip Red.)
- Light Pink icing (I used just a touch of Americolor Tulip Red.)
- Teal Blue icing (I mixed Americolor Mint Green and Sky Blue.)
- Black icing (I used Americolor Super Black.)
- Gray icing (I just just a touch of Americolor Super Black.)
- White icing (I used Americolor Bright White.)
Step 1
For the front of the truck cookie, begin by filling in the window and the center of the wheels with white icing. Also, quickly add a gray dot to the middle of the wheel while the white icing is still wet. Fill in the gray bumper detail at the front.
With teal blue icing, fill in the truck body area, as shown. Let this icing set up (about 15 minutes).
Step 2
Next, carefully fill in the black tires around the white wheels. With gray icing, add the door handle.
Once the base layer of icing had time to firm up, add the "bump" over the wheel, as shown.
Lastly, outline the edge of the truck.
Step 3
For the rear truck cookie, begin by the center of the wheels with white icing. Also, quickly add a gray dot to the middle of the wheel while the white icing is still wet, and add the gray bumper. Then fill in the red background of the heart.
With teal blue icing, fill in the truck body area, as shown. With pink icing, fill in the triangle ribbon sections. Let this icing set up (about 15 minutes).
Step 4
Next, carefully fill in the black tires around the white wheels. Add the pink bow wings to the top heart.
Lastly, add the "bump" over the tire and outline the truck body and the heart bow, as shown.

Cookie Packaging Ideas
For cookie packaging ideas, I listed a few box options in this previous Fall Farm Truck Cookie blog post. It goes over packaging ideas for the various size options available for this farm truck cookie set.
For the REGULAR size, like I used in this post, a 4-piece set would fit nicely in this 8"x8"x1.5" cookie box from BRP Box Shop. The lid is attached to the bottom of the box, which I find convenient.
If you'd prefer to keep things simple like this 2-piece option, I have a box recommendation for that too.
Focusing on just the truck for example, this REGULAR truck set fits perfectly in this 7" x 4 3/8" x 1 1/4" box from BRP.
