I absolutely love your blog you are very talented. Recently I have been wanting to take on sugar cookie icing, you make it look so easy, the letters are amazing, but I have to ask how you got the lines so perfect and straight, did you use a stencil, I would love to top these on a cake I will be making

Thanks, Cynthia! Making straight lines was a challenge for me too when I first started playing around with royal icing. The key is to lift the piping bag up as you squeeze. Here’s a tutorial from Sweetopia that shows what I mean. I hope it helps.
